30-Starter-Sales Analysis.pbix is erroring on load

Opening 30-Starter-Sales Analysis.pbix errors with "Something went wrong, An error ocurred while rendering the report". It does load the file, but the model view is blank.

I'm getting the same error inside the Skillable virtual machine and on my physical machine. BOth machines have been updated to the latest version of Power BI Desktop.

In the coped error message is:
JS Error Message:
Cannot read properties of null (reading 'name')

Strangely, it does not seem to affect the steps in lab 30. The publish steps work fine and Copilot queries work. Trying to edit the semantic model in Fabric errors with "We encountered an error during evaluation. Details: We experienced an error when trying to access the data gateway."
