Description

What happened?

I tried to install one of the apps that works on WebView on a new pc. This app installed successfully but when I tried to open the installed app I got hit with: For optimal work the app needs Microsoft Edge WebView2 or newer, to get this feature update Internet Explorer, update now?

And now I have two pcs, on the old one the app works perfectly and doesn't need any updates and on the new one the app opens with an error asking to update WebView2. HOW???

I tried to open the Microsoft Edge Update.exe. Which worked with no error but also done nothing, I tried to use the WebView2RuntimeSetup.exe and this one opened with error: You already have WebView2Runtime.

Genuinely what do I do? I know that it's a problem on my side, since I just don't know where to put the .cab archive. I'm not a programmer please help
