Description

Hi folks - we filed #5406 back in October which is an urgent issue for us, affecting commercial titles published to Steam. We have not seen any activity or heard any news about it for the ~3 months since then, so I'm reluctantly filing a new issue to try to raise attention in case the issue has slipped through the net. WebView2 has been fantastic for us and we love the technology but we are desperate to get a fix for this issue in particular. Thanks for your help!

Research direction

Review issue #5406 first, since this report points to it as the original investigation. Compare the reported interaction between AllowHostInputProcessing and the Gamepad API, then determine whether the WebView2 team has identified a reproducible case or expected fix; completion would require a confirmed resolution or a documented status update.
