[Problem/Bug]: Webview2 Memory Leak when Opening SharePoint

What happened?

Microsoft Edge consistently freezes, lags, and becomes unresponsive when opening multiple SharePoint Online tabs. Task Manager shows the Edge Browser process rapidly climbing to 5–6+ GB RAM, after which all tabs freeze or crash. This repeats reliably.

This behavior only occurs on Edge/WebView2, not Firefox; Firefox loads the same SharePoint pages smoothly.
This strongly indicates a Chromium/WebView2 rendering stack issue, not a hardware or SharePoint problem.

Start by reproducing the issue with five SharePoint Online pages in the stable WebView2 runtime 142.0.3595.80 on Windows 11, then compare memory growth with Firefox and the corresponding Edge version. Done should include a narrowed WebView2 or Edge rendering cause and supporting memory measurements, but the issue names no source files or tests.
