Description

Describe the feature/enhancement you need

Due to Licensing restrictions I don't want to install H264 CODEC but still want to use Webview.
Current redistributions don't allow me to do this, Building from source is also far fetched.

The scenario/use case where you would use this feature

We would like to use the redistribution in a commercial product. H264 codec is not suitable for this, but we absolutely don't need this codec for our purpose. Now we need to do reengineering of the solution which is a farfetched solution.

How important is this request to you?

Impactful. My app's user experience would be significantly compromised without it.

Suggested implementation

I would like to suggest that the installers allow a choice to install or not to install codecs. Codecs which are not absolutely needed should be avoided.

What does your app do? Is there a pending deadline for this request?

This is new development, but we would like to have an answer to this request soon. Looking into alternative solutions does take considerable time.
