Description

Change how we collect user input to use a multi-step input so users can go backwards if they want to change something without needing to restart from the beginning.

See a example here: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-extension-samples/tree/master/quickinput-sample#demo

Research direction

Start by locating the extension's current user-input flow and compare it with the linked VS Code quickinput-sample. The work is done when input is collected in multiple steps and users can go backward to change an earlier response without restarting.
