Description
Xiaomi is currently in violation of the GPLv2 license under which the Linux kernel is distributed.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro / POCO Pad M1 (codename: flute) was released globally in late 2025 (POCO Pad M1 launched November 26, 2025). It has now been roughly 9 months since release with no kernel source published in this repository — well beyond Xiaomi's own stated 3-month target for kernel source releases.
Other Xiaomi tablets from the same generation (e.g. Redmi Pad 2 SE / guitar, Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G / erhu) already have their kernel sources published in this repository. The flute source remains missing.
Per GPL compliance requirements (see https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-violation.html), the corresponding complete kernel source matching the shipped firmware must be made publicly available.
Please release the kernel source for flute as soon as possible.
Thanks and kind regards.
