Description

Hello Xiaomi Open Source Team,

It is a serious violation of the GNU General Public License (GPL v2) to keep Linux kernel source code closed. The POCO X7 Pro uses the Linux kernel, yet the corresponding source code has not been officially provided. As per GPL v2, Section 3, whenever binaries are distributed, the distributor is obligated to provide the complete corresponding source code. To quote directly: “You must make the source code available to all third parties under the same terms as the binary.”

This requirement is not optional, t is a legal obligation tied to the use of GPL‑licensed software. By withholding the kernel source, Xiaomi is in breach of the license terms. I am respectfully requesting that you upload the kernel source for POCO X7 Pro immediately. If this is not done, I will have no choice but to report this violation to the Free Software Foundation (FSF) for enforcement.

Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely,
prproctober
