Description

Xiaomi has been released kernel tree for POCO X8 Pro Max (dash), but why the non "Max" version doesn't releases?

Even the phone with same chipset like Xiaomi 17T (klee) with Mediatek Dimensity 8500 Ultra already have a public kernel tree.

is Xiaomi violates the GNU license?

Research direction

Start by comparing the public kernel trees for POCO X8 Pro Max (dash) and Xiaomi 17T (klee), then review the linked Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource issue #2536. Done would require Xiaomi to explain the missing klee source or publish the corresponding kernel tree; the issue does not identify files or tests for a contributor to change.
