Description
Dear @mi-code,
I am writing to request the release of the complete kernel source for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S 5G (opal) corresponding to the Linux 5.10 kernel shipped in the official EEA HyperOS 1.0.4.0 release.
At present, there is no publicly available kernel source corresponding to the 5.10-based kernel distributed with the EEA firmware for this device. This prevents developers from studying, modifying, rebuilding, and maintaining the software running on hardware that Xiaomi has distributed.
As the Linux kernel is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2), Section 3 requires distributors to make available the complete corresponding source code for the binaries they ship. The source should include all files, patches, configuration files, and build scripts necessary to reproduce the kernel included in the official firmware.
I respectfully request that Xiaomi publish the complete corresponding source code for the Linux 5.10 kernel used in the official EEA HyperOS 1.0.4.0 release for opal. I kindly ask that it be released as soon as possible so that the device is brought into compliance with the obligations of GPLv2.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Sincerely,
Addster

Research direction
No repository file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S 5G opal issue and its discussion, then verify whether the complete Linux 5.10 source for the EEA HyperOS 1.0.4.0 release is available. Done means the corresponding buildable and bootable kernel source has been published.
