Description
Hello Xiaomi Kernel Team,
In accordance with the General Public License v2 (GPLv2), the distributor of a modified Linux kernel is required to release the complete corresponding source code.
The Redmi A5 and POCO C71 (codename: serenity) are commercially available devices running a modified Linux kernel. Currently, the kernel source code and device tree for this specific device are missing from this repository (and the kernel_devicetree repository).
We kindly request you to release the kernel source code, including:
- All kernel source files and modified drivers.
- Device Tree Source (
.dts/.dtsi) files. - The exact
defconfigused for the stock release build. - Any scripts necessary to compile the kernel properly.

- Codename: serenity
- SoC: Unisoc T615 (UMS9230E / T7250)
- OS: Android 15
Releasing these sources is highly anticipated by the community. It will enable developers to build custom recoveries (such as TWRP or OrangeFox), develop custom ROMs, and build kernel modules without relying on fragile reverse-engineering workarounds.
