Description

Dear Xiaomi Developers and Community Managers,

We are writing to formally request the release of the complete and corresponding kernel source code for the Xiaomi 11T, which has the codenames "amber" and "agate."

The Xiaomi 11T was released in October 2021 and reached end of life (EOL) in September 2025. For developers to continue supporting the device after the EOL date-by adding new features, enhancing performance, or providing important security updates-they require the device tree, kernel sources, and vendor blobs.

As of March 2026, the device has been out of official security updates for six months, which makes it increasingly vulnerable to security attacks.

We would be very grateful if you could publish the source code to the official MiCode GitHub repository (github.com/MiCode).

Sincerely,
The Xiaomi 11T (amber/agate) user and developer community.

Research direction

The request concerns the Xiaomi 11T codenames amber and agate and asks for device-tree files, kernel sources, and vendor blobs to be published in the MiCode repository. Start by checking the repository for existing amber or agate source trees and any release or contribution guidance. Done would require the corresponding source materials to be published officially; no implementation files or tests are identified.
