Description

Dear Xiaomi Open Source Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing this letter as a sincere request from a Redmi Note 13 4G user and an Android enthusiast who deeply appreciates Xiaomi’s efforts in providing high-quality devices at affordable prices. Xiaomi has always been known for supporting the developer community and respecting open-source principles, which is one of the main reasons many users, including myself, choose Xiaomi devices.
However, I would like to respectfully and earnestly ask Xiaomi to release the kernel source code for the Redmi Note 13 4G, in accordance with the GNU General Public License (GPL). The availability of the source code is extremely important for developers and advanced users who wish to contribute to custom ROM development, kernel optimization, security research, and overall device longevity.
Releasing the source code would bring several benefits:
It would empower developers to build stable and optimized custom ROMs.
It would improve device security through community review and testing.
It would extend the lifespan of the device beyond official software support.
It would strengthen Xiaomi’s reputation as a brand that truly supports open-source values.
Many users around the world are patiently waiting for this release, and I truly believe that providing the kernel source code will positively impact the Redmi Note 13 4G community and increase trust and loyalty toward Xiaomi.
I kindly ask you to consider this request and take action to release the kernel source code as soon as possible. Your support would mean a lot to developers, students, and technology enthusiasts who want to learn, innovate, and contribute.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to your positive response.
