Description

Dear Xiaomi Open Source Team,

I am writing to formally request the complete corresponding source code for the Linux kernel version 6.6.x, which is currently used on the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G (codename: spark), in accordance with the requirements of the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2).

At the time of writing, the latest kernel source code published in your official repository MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource corresponds to Linux 5.10.198, which is outdated and does not match the actual kernel version shipped with the device.

To comply with GPLv2 §3, I kindly ask you to publish the full and complete source code used to build the kernel for this device, including but not limited to:

Full kernel tree for version 6.6.x

All device tree sources (*.dts, *.dtsi) used in the build (including spark.dts or equivalent)

The full kernel .config file used in the official build

Any scripts or instructions required to perform the build

These components are essential to comply with the GPLv2 license, and are required for end users and developers to be able to reproduce and modify the kernel.

Thank you in advance for your attention and your commitment to open source compliance.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource repository and the issue's stated device details: Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G, codename spark, and kernel 6.6.x. Done would mean the corresponding kernel tree, device tree sources, build configuration, and build instructions are published; the issue does not identify an implementation file or test for a newcomer to modify.
