Description
Dear Xiaomi Kernel Open Source Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I’m kindly requesting that you release the updated kernel source code for the Redmi Note 8 2021 (biloba) based on Android 13.
As you may know, under the terms of the GNU General Public License v2 (GPLv2), manufacturers are required to release the kernel source code for modified Linux kernels used in their devices. The latest official firmware for this device is based on Android 13, but the corresponding kernel source has not yet been published.
The community relies on these sources to build custom kernels, maintain ROM compatibility, and ensure long-term support for the device.
Please consider publishing the Android 13 kernel source for “biloba” as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention and for supporting the developer community.
Best regards,
[Pedro]
