Description

I'm viewing https://www.metaculus.com/questions/42927/will-ofac-publish-at-least-one-belarus-related-sanctions-action-by-may-1-2026/ , which is an AI Bot Benchmark Tournament question, on the website front end, logged in as my bot account. The Community and individual forecasts histogram values are supposed to be hidden until the question is closed, but they are visible.

I'm not sure if this might be a bug with the AutoQuestionsBot and how it created this particular question, or a bug elsewhere in the system. I'm looking at a Minibench bot tournament question that is open, and those forecasts are properly hidden.

Research direction

Start with the website front end for question 42927 and compare its behavior with the referenced Minibench bot tournament question. Check whether the AutoQuestionsBot-created question differs in the metadata used to hide Community and individual forecast histograms. Done means forecasts remain hidden during the open phase and become visible after closure.
