Call RPC api from native mobile app

Hello. We are developing native (iOS) application and connecting to metamask app using WalletConnect. We need to add polygon chain to metamask programmatically (prompt user to metamask app for confirmation, like deep link). It seems possible through browser using wallet_addEthereumChain RPC method. Is it possible to do it from native mobile application?
