Why i need to add Gnosis chain manually on Android smartphone app, but not in Chrome browser extension

On my Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A40, Android v11.x) i need to do all these steps after i imported/authenticated my wallet via seedphrase - but not in Chrome browser extension plugin:

MetaMask starten und authentifizieren (per Kennwort oder Fingerabdruck)

2.)
Unter Tab "Settings" [unten] folgendes wählen:
"Netzwerke" → "Netzwerk hinzufügen" → Tab "Benutzerdefiniert"

3.)
Im Netzwerk-"Formular" folgendes eintragen (ohne die '):

3.1)
Netzwerkname:
'Gnosis'

3.2) RPC-URL:
https://rpc.gnosischain.com

3.2.1)
RPC-Name (ist erst nach Klicks auf "RPC-URL" [Punkt 3.2] -> "RPC-URL hinzufügen" ersichtlich):
'Gnosis Chain'

3.3)
Chain-ID:
'100'

3.4)
Symbol:
'xDAI'

3.5)
Block-Explorer-URL:
https://gnosisscan.io

4.)
MetaMask-App vollständig schliessen (sprich: beenden des MetaMask-App-Prozess' - falls notwendig ggf. Smartphone neu starten!) und wieder aufrufen

4.1)
Anschliessend sollte die "Gnosis Chain" mit dem entsprechenden "Monerium EURE"-Eintrag [Betrag!] ersichtlich sein und Überweisungen auf die Gnosis VISA-Debitkarte können von nun an vorgenommen werden

Question: Why this inconsistency? This is very, very confusing - at least for all users they use it for the 1st time, ;-)

I.m.o: Maybe it would be an advantage, to implement it [some background processes after importing seedphrase for all users they use Gnosis chain] as same as on the browser plugin?
