Description

Safari 14 (in [preview mode](https://developer.apple.com/safari/technology-preview/) now) supports the WebExtension standard. Is it possible to port Metamask to work as a Safari extension now?

[Meet Safari Web Extensions](https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2020/10665/) - WWDC session about the new capability, with links to supporting documentation.

Research direction

Start with the linked Safari Web Extensions documentation and WWDC session to understand Safari 14's WebExtension support. Assess how MetaMask's existing browser extension would need to change for Safari; done means a working Safari extension, but the issue does not identify files or tests to begin with.
