Description
When switching accounts there is no summary of the account identifier itself. Only user-defined name and balance in ETH.
My search for this information found a dead-end at the mouse-over tooltip in the "My Accounts" menu of the new UI. Here I hoped to see the shortened version of the account as a summary.
Without this information displayed a user would have to plan ahead and include some indicator of the identifier in the user-defined description. Alternatively they have to select the account before being able to see it.

Research direction
Start with the new UI's "My Accounts" menu and the mouse-over tooltip described in the issue. Trace how accounts are summarized before selection, then make the shortened account identifier visible alongside the user-defined name and ETH balance; done means users can identify an account without selecting it.
