Description

### Describe the bug

You simply can't log in.
If you write your password, it will just infintely load.
Sometimes, if you write wrong password on purpose, it'll say the password is incorrect but most of the time it'll infinite load as well.
This was happening a few months ago and usually re-opening the browser would solve it.

Tried:
Restarting browser
Turning metamask extension on and off
Private window
Restarted computer

### Expected behavior

I expect to be logged in

Research direction

No files or tests are mentioned. First reproduce the login flow in MetaMask 13.42.0.0 on Firefox 153.0.3 and Windows, then trace the Firefox extension login/loading path. Done means correct passwords complete login and incorrect passwords consistently show the password error instead of loading indefinitely.
