[Bug]: Firefox UI lag and delay when clicking buttons

Describe the bug

After using MetaMask on the Firefox browser from some time, delays are experienced when switching networks, switching accounts, interacting with dapps and overall clicking buttons

At some point no click action is registered and UI freezes for some seconds.

Also experienced a crash when opening MetaMask in full screen

Unable to reproduce consistently.

Previous issue that was fixed in v13.34.0

Begin with the Firefox reproduction steps on macOS using MetaMask 13.35.0: switch networks and accounts, interact with dapps, and click buttons over time. Compare the behavior with previous issue 43121 and observe both UI delays and the fullscreen crash. Done means the lag, missed clicks, and reported crash can no longer be reproduced in these scenarios.
