Research direction
Start by reproducing the Hidden Accounts flow described in the issue on MetaMask version 12.13.0 in Edge: remove a hidden account directly without unhiding it. Trace the UI state after removal and verify that the Hidden Accounts section, arrow, and counter disappear when no hidden accounts remain.
