Description

### What is this about?

Once I have opened the extension UI in Firefox, if I switch to another window, the UI closes. When I get back, I have to open it again and start all over again. Very annoying as I need to switch between windows often.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Reproduce the Firefox extension behavior by opening the UI, switching windows, and returning; then trace the UI lifecycle and focus handling. Done means the open UI remains available after focus is lost and restored, with regression coverage if the relevant test area is found.
