Description

Describe the bug

Whenever I have a pending request and the MM dialog open, if I disable the Extension I see how the dialog remains open, with my default browser home page.

Expected behavior

Dialog should be closed automatically

Research direction

Reproduce in Chrome with the test dapp: create a pending transaction, open the MetaMask dialog, and disable the extension. Trace the request-dialog lifecycle during extension shutdown; done means the dialog closes automatically instead of remaining open and redirecting to the browser home page.
