Description
**Describe the bug**
I have BSC Fullnode and adding to new network with 56 chain ID is working properly with Chrome and Bravo.
However, it only doesn't work with Firefox.
I got the error message "Could not fetch chain ID. Is your RPC URL correct?"
**Browser details**
- OS: MacOS Big Sur version 11.4
- Browser: Firefox Version 90.0(64 bit)
- MetaMask Version: 9.8.0

Research direction
Start by reproducing custom-network setup in Firefox 90 with the reported BSC full node and chain ID 56, then compare the behavior with Chrome or Brave. Done means Firefox successfully fetches the chain ID and adds the network without showing the reported RPC URL error.
