Description

The client is asking whether we can attempt two different ways to show the laminae. The reason is because when they will be many laminae in the same slide and a few neuronal populations, picking the colors of all of them might be lengthy.
Suggestions/requests are:
1) Shades of grey. the default color of the laminae is going to be grey of different shades, assume there will be around 25 laminae, we would need about 25 shades of grey (which we will need to be able to distinguish from the background). Here is an example of how it would look like

We should keep in mind that the background (the grey matter) is grey too which reduces the range of greys we can use (we can use white and black for the laminae if we want).

2) show the contour of the laminae as opposed to filling is. The contour can be colored.

I guess we should start discussing what you guys think and what is the easiest to implement. @zsinnema @afonsobspinto
