# rose-stem tests for veg3/JULES-RED
Currently there are no rose-stem tests for the veg3 configuration. Once all the baseline science developments are completed we need to build suitable rose-stem tests for ensuring good science performance for future developments. There are already a few sites, tropical, temperate and boreal, that we can use as a starting point for building these tests.
