Adjust colorbar limits

`AutoLimits` are on by default at the moment, it would be better if a user could set their own limits or override the admin chosen settings. In any case having static limits are better from a performance and usability perspective

Start by locating the AutoLimits implementation and the colorbar configuration or entry point. Check how administrator-selected settings are applied, then define and test the behavior for user-supplied limits and static limits, including user overrides; done means both limits can be selected reliably and improve performance or usability.
