Description
To make METplus operators usable in products, we will need them to have apps in the workflow.
These apps will have to handle taking an input file, running the METplus operator, and passing the output file to the next step in the product.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the existing METplus wrappers and the workflow's app conventions, then determine how an input file enters an app and how its output reaches the next product step. Done means the required wrappers have usable apps with verified input and output handoff.
