Description

I suggest a 3 step approach for onboarding users
1. CSET documentation with examples
2. 5 minute video tutorials going through the 3 use cases i.e. 1) running CSET with existing recipes, 2.) creating a new recipe with existing operators, 3.) creating a new operator with associated recipe, test code and all required changes in several videos explaining every single step.
3. 2 half day workshops with first half being a guided demonstration of using CSET with existing data and modifying a recipe and the second half day participants bring their own data or idea for a new diagnostic or recipe and test CSET's usability with us on hand to help.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the CSET documentation and the existing-recipe, operator, and recipe workflows described in the issue. Define the documentation, video tutorials, and workshop materials needed for the three onboarding use cases, then confirm completion by covering each workflow end to end.
