Discussion: make target point minus actual point limit intelligent in regrid to single point

### What problem does your feature request solve?

Currently the target minus actual point is hard-coded to 0.1 degs. We would like to be more intelligent for different datasets.

### Describe the solution you'd like

Option 1. Hard-code a different value
Option 2. Make within x-number of grid points; what should the value of x be ?

Would appreciate the discussion on how to progress this is in a fair way.
