CMM Porting - Proof of Concept

While learning about CMM/CMEW and determining what work will need to be done to port one to the other, I put together a proof of concept that demonstrates the processing of desired CMM variables from a given climate run (u-dq100) with CMEW. Sample output from this can be seen below.

No source file, test, or entry point is named; the issue only presents a proof of concept and comparison plots. Start by locating the proof of concept in CMEW and confirming the required CMM-to-CMEW porting scope with maintainers; the issue does not yet define what completion should include.
