Description
- [ ] Check whether all `[template variables]` in the `rose-suite.conf` are still needed.

Research direction
Inspect rose-suite.conf to identify which [template_variables] entries the conversion workflow still uses, then compare them with rose-meta.conf. Remove entries confirmed to be unused, update corresponding metadata, and review whether default values should remain. The issue does not name tests or a specific entry point, so completion depends on validating the configuration changes against the workflow.
