Description

Hello !
I had errors after synchronizing the entries, saying that the xxxxx layer was 'incorrect' (sorry I don't remember the exact word), and I think it was because the geopackage name contained accented characters) ( like 'à' or 'é' in French). I replaced these layers and the problem disappeared.

The perverse part is that I had not created these layer names but they were apparently generated by Mergin when (re-)packaging a project in QGis, these being the 'user friendly' names I had assigned to my layers in the project.

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Reproduce synchronization in QGIS with geopackage or layer names containing accented characters such as à or é, then trace the plugin's synchronization and repackaging flow; done means these names synchronize without the reported incorrect-layer error.
