Description
A user reported that IT (their antivirus software or firewall) had blocked Mergin and even though they had installed the plugin, it was not appearing in the browser in QGIS?
Is this reproducible? If so, it might be worth instead displaying some diagnostic info about not being able to connect?

Research direction
Start by reproducing the blocked Mergin access scenario in QGIS and observe whether the installed plugin appears in the browser. Confirm the behavior under antivirus or firewall blocking, then document the expected diagnostic information or browser behavior once the cause is established.
