Description
Users have reported that the status message under projects in the Home screen will give wrong or misleading information. A couple of examples of this behaviour as follows:
- The project was just synchronised but the status message states that it was last updated 2 weeks ago:
- The user says they synchronised the project and the status shows it is up-to-date for a few minutes but then goes back to 'Pending changes to synchronise' when there are no local changes

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue on the Home screen: synchronise a project and observe the status immediately and after several minutes. Trace how the Home screen obtains project update and pending-change information. Done means the displayed last-updated and synchronisation status remain accurate when there are no local changes.
