Description
Feature Description
Currently for videos, the video state and timestamps are managed by passing down the values through the Chart object.
This should be updated so that they are not passed directly and should instead use an independent tool that is responsible for managing the video and timestamp which is called in the chart and video players.

Research direction
Start by tracing how the Chart object passes video state and timestamps to the video players. Identify the relevant Chart and video-player entry points, then design the independent video-and-timestamp management tool described in the issue. Done means the Chart no longer passes these values directly and both Chart and video players use the new tool.
