Description
It's currently quite hard to set a config using Python only. You can override the values in CONFIG but they do not get validated, and creating a ServerConfig from scratch adds some awkward import ordering to enable use of the reference server.
My current workaround is to set os.environ variables before the config/app is imported, so that they get picked up.
