Description

Today you go

``` math 1.2.3
My equation
```

It might be useful to be able to go

``` math 1.2.3 1.2.4
My equation 1
My equation 2
```

and have each equation numbered with the appropriate number.

I'm not sure whether a blank line is a good separator for LaTeX though.

Research direction

Start by tracing how the existing math 1.2.3 syntax is parsed and rendered; the issue names no files or tests. Determine how multiple numbers and equation blocks should be separated, then verify that each equation receives the corresponding number while the existing single-equation form still works.
