Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing Robot Framework request keywords and their documentation to understand how sessionless and session-based requests are currently exposed. Compare those entry points with the proposed Http Request and Http Request On Session examples; done means the generic keywords support the shared parameters and are documented as the common interface.
