Research direction
Start with the pending examples in spec/workflow/intrinsic_function_spec.rb at lines 59-64 and 81-86. Review how String.Format handles escaped characters, then use those specs to define the expected behavior. The work is done when the escaped-string cases pass without breaking the surrounding intrinsic function specs.
