Mahapps Metro Command Strip

The command strip described in the Windows 8.1 user experience guidelines is a great tool: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh465302.aspx

Unfortunately, the class that implements that is Windows Store app specific. If MahApps.Metro had one, it would make my life a lot easier not having to reinvent the wheel for every app.
