Description

Gfan has a new version! From release notes:
> - [Gfan version 0.8beta](https://math.au.dk/~jensen/software/gfan/gfan0.8beta.tar.gz) (May 7th 2026. Updated Makefile and minor fixes. Commands for half-open polyhedra and half-open complexes are in development (_tropicalprevariety etc.). More parallelisation.)
> - [Gfan version 0.7](https://users-math.au.dk/~jensen/software/gfan/gfan0.7.tar.gz) (August 12th 2024. The only major difference is the introduction of _tropicalprevariety which is much faster than the old _tropicalintersection. (Comment to the Singular/CoCoA developers: It is not possible to extract a useful updated version of gfanlib from the sources.))
