Description

implement standard bases for local rings? (nice to have)

purpose:
- alternative implementation to test Singulars `std()`
- some research groups might be interested in it

personaly I do not need it, but at least Yue Ren and Anders Jensen
use Singulars (buggy) std() ( and will probably stay with Singular anyway )

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry point. Start by locating the existing standard-basis functionality and reviewing how Singular's std() handles local rings; done would be an alternative implementation that can be compared against Singular.
