Description

Situation:

- $X(\omega)=\sum_{n=-\infty}^{\infty}$

Try: (delete brackets of last \infty)

- $X(\omega)=\sum_{n=-\infty}^\infty$

Undo 1: (recall brackets but worked improperly)

- $X(\omega)=\sum_{n=-\infty}^{}\infty$

Undo 2: (further)

- $X(\omega)=\sum_{n=-\infty}^{}\inft}y$

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reproducing the bracket-deletion sequence in MacDown, then trace the editor's undo handling for the affected math text; done means each undo restores the preceding formula exactly without introducing or removing characters.
