Description
I wonder if this is related to #48. I'm seeing an issue with a document that has unsaved changes. Occasionally when I leave a document open for multiple days with unsaved changes I get this warning:
```
"The document “x.md” could not be autosaved.
The file has been changed by another application."
```
The problem I have is that if I select the "Save as..." option and select a different location then the file doesn't save in that new location and the same warning pops up again.

Research direction
No source file or test is named. First reproduce the warning after leaving a document with unsaved changes, compare the failing “Save as...” flow with the related #48 issue, and verify that choosing a new location saves the document there without showing the warning again.
