Description

Hey there, thanks so much for this amazing app, I love it!! 😄

One of the things I find a little troublesome is the fact that Macdown seems to record the window position for each new file being opened and doesn't seem to have the concept of a "default window position" as far as i can tell.

As such, every single time I open a file, I must re-adjust the window position and size. Re-opening that same file remembers the window position, but when opening another file, I must start over again.

Any ideas?

Research direction

Review MacDown's handling of window position and size for newly opened files, then compare that with the existing behavior when reopening the same file. Define how a default position should be selected and verify that new files use it while reopening a file still preserves its remembered position.
