Description

Idea from [this tweet](https://twitter.com/homoky/status/581745551458304000). This is actually [doable with pure CSS](http://philarcher.org/diary/2013/headingnumbers/), but how to handle the preference and to integrate this into all themes might be a problem.

But the more important question might be: Does this even worth the effort?

Research direction

Review the linked pure-CSS heading-numbering approach, then inspect how preferences and themes are handled in MacDown. Before implementation, clarify whether the feature is wanted and define how numbering should work across all themes; done would require an agreed preference and consistent theme integration.
