Description
Try this:
1. Open a .md file in MacDown [Don't do this with a file you care about!]
2. Hide the preview pane (Shift-Command-H)
3. Close the window (Command-W)
4. Open the same file again
When I do this, the preview pane is now permanently hidden: The "Restore Preview Pane" item in the View Menu is missing, and Shift-Command-H has no effect. It's specific to the file; other files still have their preview panes. But whenever I open this file again, I can't preview it.
How to I get the preview back? I assume there's some state being cached, but I tried quitting MacDown, removing `~/Library/Preferences/*macdown*`, `~/Library/Caches/*macdown*` and `~/Library/Saved\ Application\ State/*macdown*` and relaunching, but there's still no preview pane. Is there something else I can clear?
Thanks!

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the listed MacDown steps with a disposable .md file and inspect how the per-file preview-pane state is retained; done means the preview can be restored and remains available when that file is reopened.
